The Dubai Municipality Hackathon presents the following four challenges, and each team can pick one to tackle:
* Experts from relevant sectors and departments in Dubai Municipality will provide guidance and insights throughout the three-day hackathon, offering teams valuable information and coaching.
Participants will work individually or in teams of 4-5 people to develop innovative solutions addressing the Dubai Municipality Hackathon challenges. Over three days, teams will conceptualize, design, and present their ideas.

At the end of the Dubai Municipality Hackathon, teams will pitch their solutions to a panel of judges consisting of experts in urban development, technology, and sustainability. This is an opportunity to showcase innovative ideas, receive valuable feedback, and engage with industry leaders.

The solution’s ability to drive meaningful change and contribute to long-term sustainability and urban development goals
The level of innovation demonstrated through the integration of AI, IoT, blockchain, and other emerging technologies in addressing urban and environmental challenges.
Originality and inventiveness displayed in the presentation style, storytelling approach, and overall pitch delivery.
Participants in the Dubai Municipality Hackathon will have the opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions while contributing to urban sustainability and smart city advancements.
To recognize outstanding contributions, winning teams will receive both monetary and non-monetary rewards to support their innovation journey.
